Mitchell back with the team, DSP very soon, Price and Gallagher in a few weeks.
Tough schedule ahead, the next 10 games won't be easy. |

I agree with your suggested lines. I don't really get why Pacioretty and Plekanec need a defensive winger... I mean, they both play great defensively already, why not have a young gun who might make mistakes instead of a passenger that might not make mistakes but won't create much either? Andrighetto was working magic with Eller and Galchenyuk, while Weise was working magic with Desharnais and Fleischmann, why change that? Ok, the third line wasn't as magical as it was at the beginning of the season, but it's not a reason to pull it apart. And the fourth, Flynn and Mitchell are both two good defensive players with speed, add in Byron and you have that little offensive spark that makes a fourth lin good. Still not sure where DSP fits when he comes back though... |

I think DSP gets rotated in with Byron/Flynn depending on the match up and need. Gallagher goes back to Plekanec/Pacioretty and we've already seen that Andrighetto compliments Eller/Galchenyuk better than other player on the roster... |

I don't get having Flynn, Andrighetto, or Weise where they are right now in the lineup. I do like Byron's speed with Plek/Patches though! |

I have the same logic. I'm not quite sure we want to take away Byron's speed, and offense though, so I'd take Flynn out, but then, Flynn plays a big part on the PK (and can fill in as a center), so it's tough too. In the end, though, I'd prefer having too many good 4th liners than too much dead weight like a few years ago... |

watching last game i found that daniel carr had no clue what to do in the defensive zone . he wasn't able to cover karlson at the blue line and that led to long shifts of puck chasing. it was so bad defensive coverage actually that i wouldn't call him a little gallagher.
and i think every one agrees that while tokarski is our number one the last thing we need is bad defensive coverage. |

I really hope that a permanent solution to the top six RW is made by the trade deadline.
I prefer DSP in the lineup over Byron or Flynn. So once he and Gallagher are back that helps a heck of a lot. |

I think Therrien is trying to get Weise going again. he hasn't been the same since his knee/ leg was slightly damaged about 10 games ago... or so... |
